Dumpster Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Dumpster Rental Agreement

Salt City Junk Removal provides trailer-style dumpster rentals for residential, commercial, construction, remodeling, landscaping, moving, cleanout, and other approved projects.

By scheduling a dumpster rental, the customer agrees to use the dumpster responsibly and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

2. Rental Period

Standard rental periods are available for 1 day, 7 days, or 14 days.

Additional rental days may be available for $14.99 per additional day, subject to availability.

The rental period begins on the scheduled delivery date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Customers should contact Salt City Junk Removal as soon as possible if they need to extend their rental period.

3. Payment

Payment is required according to the rental terms provided at the time of booking.

The customer is responsible for all rental charges, additional rental days, disposal charges, special handling fees, and any other applicable charges associated with the rental.

Salt City Junk Removal reserves the right to require payment before delivery of the dumpster.

4. Approved Materials

Dumpsters may be used for common household, remodeling, construction, landscaping, and cleanout materials.

Examples of generally acceptable materials include:

• Household junk
• Furniture
• Appliances that are accepted for disposal
• Construction and remodeling debris
• Wood and lumber
• Drywall
• Flooring materials
• Yard debris
• Landscaping debris
• General household cleanout materials

If you are unsure whether a particular material is permitted, contact Salt City Junk Removal before placing it in the dumpster.

5. Prohibited Materials

Customers may not place hazardous, illegal, or restricted materials inside the dumpster.

Prohibited materials may include:

• Hazardous chemicals
• Paint, solvents, and certain liquids
• Motor oil and other hazardous liquids
• Explosives or flammable materials
• Medical or biological waste
• Asbestos-containing materials
• Radioactive materials
• Illegal substances
• Other materials prohibited by applicable disposal facilities or law

If prohibited materials are discovered, the customer may be responsible for removal, transportation, disposal, fines, penalties, or other associated costs.

6. Heavy Materials

Customers must notify Salt City Junk Removal before loading unusually heavy materials such as large quantities of dirt, concrete, brick, rock, asphalt, tile, or similar materials.

Extremely heavy loads may require special pricing, limitations, or approval before the dumpster can be used.

Salt City Junk Removal reserves the right to refuse or require removal of materials that create an unsafe or excessive load.

7. Loading Requirements

All materials must be loaded safely and evenly throughout the dumpster.

Materials must remain contained within the dumpster and must not extend above the top of the container or create an unsafe load.

Customers are responsible for properly loading and securing materials.

If a dumpster is overloaded or loaded in an unsafe manner, Salt City Junk Removal may require the customer to remove excess material before the dumpster can be transported.

8. Dumpster Placement

The customer is responsible for identifying a suitable location for dumpster placement.

The placement area must provide sufficient clearance and safe access for delivery and pickup.

Customers should ensure the area is clear of:

• Vehicles
• Low-hanging branches
• Overhead obstructions
• Fences or gates that prevent access
• Other objects that could interfere with delivery

Salt City Junk Removal reserves the right to refuse placement if the location is unsafe or inaccessible.

9. Driveways & Property

Salt City Junk Removal takes reasonable care when delivering and removing dumpsters.

However, dumpster placement involves heavy equipment and may cause damage to driveways, asphalt, concrete, landscaping, curbs, or other surfaces under certain conditions.

The customer is responsible for informing Salt City Junk Removal of any known conditions that could affect placement, including weak, damaged, newly installed, or otherwise unsuitable surfaces.

By requesting placement on private property, the customer authorizes Salt City Junk Removal to access the property for delivery and pickup.

10. Street Placement & Permits

Customers are responsible for obtaining any permits or approvals that may be required for placing a dumpster on a public street, right-of-way, or other regulated location.

Salt City Junk Removal is not responsible for fines, citations, towing, or other penalties resulting from a customer's failure to obtain required authorization.

11. Access to the Dumpster

The customer must maintain reasonable and unobstructed access to the dumpster throughout the rental period.

Vehicles, equipment, debris, gates, or other obstacles must not prevent Salt City Junk Removal from safely accessing the dumpster for pickup.

Additional charges may apply if pickup is delayed because the dumpster cannot be safely accessed.

12. Pickup

Customers should contact Salt City Junk Removal when the dumpster is ready for pickup if pickup has not already been scheduled.

The dumpster must be accessible and loaded in accordance with these Terms & Conditions before pickup.

Salt City Junk Removal reserves the right to delay pickup if the load is unsafe, prohibited, overloaded, or otherwise unsuitable for transport.

13. Rental Extensions

Rental extensions may be available for $14.99 per additional day, subject to availability.

Customers requesting additional time should contact Salt City Junk Removal before the original rental period expires.

14. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Customers should provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling a dumpster rental.

Cancellation or rescheduling policies may vary depending on how close the request is made to the scheduled delivery date.

Any applicable cancellation, delivery, or scheduling fees will be communicated to the customer when applicable.

15. Weather & Unsafe Conditions

Delivery or pickup may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather, unsafe road conditions, property conditions, mechanical issues, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

Salt City Junk Removal will make reasonable efforts to communicate delays and reschedule service as soon as reasonably possible.

16. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the dumpster and its contents during the rental period.

The customer agrees to:

• Use the dumpster only for approved materials
• Keep prohibited materials out of the dumpster
• Prevent unauthorized use of the dumpster
• Load materials safely
• Keep the dumpster accessible
• Notify us of any issues affecting the rental

17. Damage to the Dumpster

Customers may be responsible for damage to the dumpster caused by misuse, prohibited materials, burning materials inside the dumpster, excessive weight, intentional damage, or other negligent use.

Customers should not move, modify, alter, paint, weld, or otherwise modify the dumpster.

18. Right to Refuse Service

Salt City Junk Removal reserves the right to refuse delivery, pickup, transportation, or disposal of a dumpster when conditions are unsafe, prohibited materials are present, the dumpster is overloaded, or the customer is otherwise violating these Terms & Conditions.

19. Liability

Salt City Junk Removal will use reasonable care when providing dumpster rental services. However, customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate placement location and using the dumpster safely.

Customers are responsible for damage, injury, fines, penalties, or additional disposal costs resulting from improper use of the dumpster or violation of these Terms & Conditions, to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to These Terms

Salt City Junk Removal reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The current version posted on this website will govern future rentals unless otherwise agreed in writing.
